PrisonMail allows you to invite other friends and family members to join your Mailbox as "Members", where they can write personal message to your inmate. There's no limit to the number of Members you may invite, and there's no additional charge for them to use your mailbox. PrisonMail converts these electronic messages confidentially into a computer-generated, printed letter of up to eight pages and mails it directly to your inmate's correction facility. Letters are sent once or twice a week, depending on the service plan you choose PrisonMail letters are all confidentially processed and remain so until they arrive at the correctional facility. Correction officers may open these letters and review them for content and may edit or return letters that do nor conform to the facility's mail policy. Here is an example of how PrisonMail may help you and the other friends and family of your inmate to stay in touch.
